The South Tipton County Chamber of Commerce (STCC) is organized for the purpose of advancing the agricultural, economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the South Tipton County, Tennessee area.
The South Tipton County Chamber of Commerce is designed to meet the needs of the business community. It is a voluntary organization of small and large businesses, professionals and interested individuals who join together to advance the interests of the community. It is a legislative representative, an information bureau and a business resource tool.
The Chamber is run by its members through an elected Board of Directors who serve without pay. The Board determines policy and hires the professional staff. The only significant resources of the Chamber are the time, skills and financial support of the members. The Chamber enables them to accomplish collectively what they could not accomplish individually. The Chamber is defined by the community´s perception of past accomplishments, current actions, and preparation to deal with the future. The scope and effectiveness of the Chamber is limited only by the commitment of its leaders and members.
Through the years the Chamber has been a strong voice for the the business community and has provided many services to its members and to the entire community. The Chamber remains a viable and valuable business organization today as the community continues to grow and develop.
