Alderwoman Sue Arthur “My vision is to have a city that will ensure the safety and welfare of all its people while at the same time maintains a budget that does not burden the citizens by imposing higher taxes. The City must remain financially stable not only for today but for future years. We need plans for the future: where do we want to be in 5 years, or 10 years? We should have growth and progress in an orderly manner promoting programs and activities for our youth and our senior citizens. We need to maintain and excel in all departments of our local government (Recreation, Police and Fire, Public Works and General Government)”.

Background and Experience: Business owner and worked in local government since 1967 Served 18 years as City Recorder for the Town of Atoka Employed 14 years by the City of Munford Served as Secretary to the Munford Regional Planning Commission Retired from the City of Munford in January 1998 A business owner from 1969 to 1990 in the grocery business, real estate office, and Munford Florist (where I am now employed part-time)
